Integrating all Residents Associations, a meeting was held on 03rd March 2006 in 'Suguna Kalyana Mandapam' regarding improvement to the basic infrastructural facilities of Kovai and changes to the building rules to keep in tune with the changing times. About 1500 people belonging to various sectors participated with involvement. On the occasion, a 'Signature Campaign' in support of the petitions proposed to be submitted to the Govt & other authorities by 'RAAC', was inaugurated. Smt. Vanitha Mohan (Siruthuli), Shri C.R. Swaminanthan (P.S.G.) and Shri S.Y. Arumugam (President, SIMA) commenced the 'Signature Campaign' by subscribing their signatures first.
